The flow path from the filters to the turbo inlets is very direct and does not change direction as abruptly as the usual OEM airbox designs.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eSo instead of a complete redesign we focused on improving the OEM airbox with less restrictive flow and improved temperature efficiency. We have developed replacement drop in filters made from non-woven mesh which have a much higher flow rate as compared to the stock paper filters.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eTo help reduce inlet air temperatures and force air into the airbox we designed large front scoops which sit behind the grills.
